| BERNINA MASTERY CLASSES
Congratulations on your new Bernina! Tom and I thank you for purchasing from us and we want you to use your machine to its fullest capabilities. Machine Mastery classes are designed to teach you about your sewing machine. There is no charge for these classes! The series is broken up into seven 2-hour sessions. (Except for Saturday sessions which are all day, from 9am to 5pm; cover several classes; once a month, on the second Saturday.)
An $18.00 workbook is required, or you may purchase a CD from us for $3, and print your own book.
You will need to bring the following to class:
1. ALL machine accessories including: your machine AND your manual.
2. Scissors, and highlighter.
3. Good thread in a light and dark color
4. A package of 80/12 Sharps needles
5. Machine Mastery work book (Printed $18.00; or CD to print your own $3.00)
6. For Class #2 you will need a double or twin needle
7. 3-ring binder to put your workbook pages in
8. Glue stick or double-side sticky tape for mounting your samples.
9. Optional: page protectors to put your workbook pages and samples in.
Before coming to class:
1. Read the instruction manual that came with your machine,
and look at the video or CD if one comes with your machine.
2. Go over the details of the machine located at the front of the manual.
3. Practice winding a bobbin.
4. Practice inserting the bobbin in the machine.
5. Practice threading the upper thread of the machine.
6. Take time to "play" with your new machine and get acquainted.
7. Write down your questions and bring them to class, so that we can answer them for you.
8. It is important that you accomplish the above instructions so that classes run smoothly and you get the most out of your time and machine.
9. Please let us know if you are not coming to the class for which you signed up.

Saturday, February 10: 9am to 5pm (once a month for 2 months)
Tuesday, February 13: 3pm to 5:00pm (once a week for 7 weeks)
Friday, February 16: 10am to 1pm (once a week for 7 weeks)
